Another benefit of trading with IG Markets is our Price Improvement feature.
Sometimes, IG Markets will give you a better price than the level you have requested.
This is Price Improvement. If we have a better price* available when your deal is executed, we give it to you – thanks to our revolutionary Price Improvement technology.
Example:
IG quotes a EUR/USD at 1.29865. You go to sell 5 contracts. However, due to rapid changes in the currency pair price that occur while you’re making the trade, it suddenly moves to 1.29870.
PureDeal automatically gives you EUR/USD at 1.29870, or the 5-pip price improvement. When you are set to close your order, the 5-pip difference is noted within the Deal Ticket confirmation window.
At IG Markets, price improvements are available on entry and offsetting positions.
